Q&A:
What is your view on a company's social responsibility?
My past 30 years of experience tells me that to properly run a business not only requires solving one's own problems, but also shouldering some overall responsibilities.
A good enterprise should have its own vision - not only have a proper operation, but also for social development.
To be an enterprise that can last for at least 100 year is our goal.
What are the crucial elements?
Corporate culture is one of the keys to an enterprise. A good culture will unite all its employees to do their best for the company.
Based on this common knowledge, we have worked out a system to ensure that everyone will work toward the goal.
Once everyone has a common goal, we need to enhance our work efficiency through science and technology.
In short, an enterprise must have a corporate culture, a system and science and technology.
How do you handle it when your company is faced with a difficult issue?
An enterprise should not be affected by difficulties. This is important to an enterprise.
An enterprise should have short-term, medium-term and long-term plans.
For an enterprise to follow its plans without being distracted by difficulties, the management must be quite active instead of passive.
