The Chengdu version of the famous painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" was created at a residential community in Chengdu city, Southwest China's Sichuan province. The 12-meter-long wall painting illustrates the street view of the region from the Jiuyan Bridge to Dongmen Bridge from 1950s to 1990s.

The painter, 70-year-old Gong Suqing, spent two months on the piece in 2015. She visited the local elderly neighbors to recall their memory of their life there. From the painting, we can see houses with unique features laid out at the riverside and vivid portrayal of residents' lives.
