With less than two weeks to go before the Postgraduate Entrance Exam, millions of college students are busy preparing for it. Students taking part in the exam can be seen everywhere in Heze College. They start preparing as dawn breaks and continue until night sets in. Many students say that preparing for the exam is a lonely road.

The college library’s front door does not open before 5:30 am, but students start standing in line as early as possible. And instead of wasting their time while waiting in line, they go through their books. Although the library has space for hundreds of people, all the seats are quickly occupied, with rows and rows of books and thermoses filled with hot water.

The scene is no different in the corridors where students spend whole day studying. The time is so precious that many order take-out to save time.

Many students burn the midnight oil as they go through books and past exam papers.
