Rainbow on fingertips: Exquisite coiled embroidery

Coiled embroidery is the major embroidery technique of the Tu ethnic group and needs a lifelong learning to master it. In the eastern mountainous area of the Qinghai Plateau, Tu people use their skillful hands to carry forward the ancient traditional embroidery art. The coiled embroidery of the Tu ethnic group was listed into the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage in 2006.
