Visitors look at lanterns on display in Pengfang village, Changting county, East China's Fujian province. The village is famous for elaborate lanterns that are made with chiseled paper-cuts and bamboo strips and then arranged in the shape of a dragon to mark the festival on the 15th day of the lunar January, a tradition dating back 300 years. Peng Jingzhou was said to have created the craft during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) by combining the local paper-cut art with Hakkas culture.  [Photo/China News Service]
