Man carves figures from classic novels

Mu Dengde, a 73-year-old from Chongqing municipality, only has primary school diploma. However, he draws inspiration from TV dramas and books, and uses his stonemasonry techniques to forge major figures from China's "Four Great Classic Novels" during the past 50 years. He has carved the 108 heroes from the Chinese classic Water Margin and the 12 Jinling ladies from the novel Dream of the Red Chamber.
