Property group Riverside to focus on anti-aging industry

Riverside Group Co Ltd, a leading property developer and operator in China, will focus on expanding its business in the anti-aging industry in the future, according to the company's top management on Tuesday.

The group recently held the second World Anti-Aging Forum with National Health and Family Planning Commission of China in its theme town in Beijing, aiming to build up its anti-aging theme town brand, according to Li Zhe, founder and board chairman of Riverside Group.

"We are dedicated to integrating resources to create better life quality for Chinese people and further the transformation of China's anti-aging industry," Li said.

In the next 30 years, the world will see 1.5 billion more people aged above 65 years old, according to Ian Sanderson, president and co-founder of Cellese, a key sponsor of the forum. As the global population ages, the market potential for anti-aging programs is huge, he said.

The forum will be another attempt to promote the development of the anti-aging industry in China and share the medical solutions, Li said.

Completed in April 2018, 121 Longevity Town, the host place of the forum, was designed to provide comprehensive health management plan for customers, aiming to become an integrated health anti-aging management platform including disease prevention, medical treatment, rehabilitation and aging care services, Li said.

Founded in 1986, Riverside Group has been focusing on the development and operation of theme towns with unique features, according to the company's statement. Currently, the group's project layout covers core areas of North China, East China, Central China and Southwest China, integrating 300 international IPs, including American Six Flags, the company's statement said.
