A woman stabbed three infants and two adults inside an illegal day care center in Flushing, Queens early Friday before cutting her own wrist, authorities said.

The incident occurred about 3:30 am at the center called Mei Xin Care Inc, according to police.

The woman — identified by law enforcement sources as Yu Fen Wang, 52, who works at the center — used a knife to stab the babies and a man who was struck in the leg, police said at a news conference. Wang also attacked a co-worker in the torso before slashing her left wrist.

The newborns are 3 days, 2 weeks and 1 month old, according to authorities, who also confirmed the man is the father of one of them.

All the victims, including Wang, are in stable condition at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, police said.

Wang was found in the basement with cuts to her wrist, police said.

Two knives — including a meat cleaver — were recovered at the scene.

No information was immediately available about the motive.

The house where the stabbings took place is home to multiple families and nine infants, police said.

"The daycare was illegal. They used it as a place for Chinese women to keep babies they gave birth to," a police source told the New York Post. "The moms would then get citizenship because babies were born here."

Seven babies were inside the home at the time of the attack, according to police, who are trying to determine whether the mothers gave birth at the home, the source added.
