Fun mini-marathon to showcase Xi'an tourism in New York

NEW YORK - A fun mini-marathon will be held in New York City on Saturday to highlight the cultural and historical attractions of Xi'an, one of the best ancient cities in China.

The "Xi'An Warrior Run NYC" will start at 10:30 am Saturday at the Battery Park, featuring a 3k run along the Hudson River and a cultural tourism exhibition of Xi'an which is famous for its historical heritages including the Terra-cotta Warriors.

Each of the top three runners will be awarded cash prize and a certificate.

The event, a warmup of NYC Marathon on Sunday, is hosted by the Sino-American Culture and Arts Foundation with support from the Sino-American Friendship Association.
