Polygonum flowers in full bloom at Poyang Lake

In dry seasons, water level falls in Poyang Lake, the country’s largest fresh-water lake located in central China's Jiangxi province. Wild flowers, mostly Polygonum, flourish, turning the exposed land into a pink world. From October to December is the best period to enjoy the stunning view of not only the flowers, but also of hundreds of cranes and other birds. The lake also offers paragliding experience to enjoy the scenery.
