Top 10 most beautiful alleys in Beijing

Beijing announced the top 10 most beautiful alleys on Wednesday after eight months of photo collection from the public.

Last month, the municipal government chose 20 alleys out of 892 as the candidates for public to vote online. The result came out on Wednesday.

In the past two years, the city has been making efforts on taking down illegal constructions and upgrading the facilities of alleys all over the city to improve the local residents' living condition.
