China's first AI supermarket debuts in Shanghai

The first supermarket in China run through artificial intelligence has opened for business in Shanghai, December 1, 2018. Different from a traditional supermarket, customers at the new AI-run store can use their palm print to pay. A customer creates an account which is linked to Alipay and inputs his palm print at the entrance of the supermarket. [Photo/IC]
