It took Kendall Kracke six years to learn the Chinese language, and she eventually became the champion of the 20th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students.

During her most recent stay of about two years in China, she made many Chinese friends and gained a better understanding of Chinese culture. She is optimistic that the Beijing Winter Olympics will bridge the gap and connect people across the world to tackle global challenge.
