During the recent May Day holiday, Qingquan Lake, a picturesque rural destination in Guanxian County, Liaocheng city of Shandong province, saw a remarkable influx of over 60,000 travelers, thanks to the introduction of a captivating night tour at the resort.

The addition of the night tour at the resort has proved to be a game-changer, enchanting visitors with a display of traditional Chinese lanterns and lamps that adorn the area, offering a glimpse of the scenic night views surrounding the lake.

To enhance the travel experience, stage performances were also organized, adding a touch of excitement and cultural richness for tourists, as confirmed by local authorities.

Local villager Kong Detao has reaped the benefits of the surge in holiday travelers. "Thousands of people visit my farm daily to pick and savor the grapes and strawberries."

This increased footfall has not only brought economic opportunities to the area but has also fostered a sense of community engagement and shared experiences among visitors and locals alike.

Liu Xiaojing, an official from Guanxian, highlighted the growing popularity of rural sightseeing and local produce among travelers, underscoring the appeal of authentic, nature-centric experiences in today's tourism landscape.

Looking ahead, Liu emphasized the commitment to further enhancing rural infrastructure in Guanxian to meet the evolving needs and expectations of travelers. By investing in infrastructure improvements, the aim is to elevate the overall visitor experience, ensuring that Qingquan Lake continues to enthrall and delight visitors with its natural beauty and cultural offerings.
