Hebei floods claim eight lives, 18 missing

Torrential rains have killed eight people and left 18 others missing in Liudaohe township, Xinglong county of Chengde, Hebei province, according to the county's flood rescue command center on Wednesday night.
The casualties occurred after continuous heavy rainfall triggered disasters in several villages. Rescue teams are conducting intensive search operations for the missing individuals.
