Henan to hold talks with ASEAN in late June

Cooperation talks between central China's Henan province and ASEAN members are due to be held from June 28 to 29 at an international exhibition and convention center in the provincial capital of Zhengzhou.

According to organizers, 300 business people and experts will attend the talks, which cover business promotion, tourism development and corporate listings abroad.

Henan's trade with ASEAN amounted to $1.58 billion in 2010, a rise of 68.3 percent on the previous year.

By the end of last year, ASEAN established 547 investment projects in Henan, involving $2.08 billion in contracted foreign capital.

By the end of January 2011, Henan launched 64 projects in ASEAN, involving $296.95 million in contracted Chinese capital.
