BEIJING--Italian automaker Fiat will recall 1,223 imported vehicles in China's mainland from Wednesday to fix problems that could pose safety risks, China's quality watchdog said Tuesday.
The recall involves the models Fiat Bravo 198 MT and 198 MTA that were imported in 2008 and 2011, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said in a statement on its website.

The statement said the cars were produced between March 20, 2008, and November 8, 2010.
Fiat said the linker between rear brake-caliper frame and floating caliper could rupture.
