China's stocks fall for second day--July 19

BEIJING-- Chinese shares fell for the second consecutive day Tuesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.70 percent, or 19.71 points, to close at 2,796.98.

The Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.87 percent, or 109.09 points, to finish at 12,381.46.
