China stocks close up--August 10

BEIJING-- China's stocks closed higher on Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.91 percent to close at 2,549.18.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.19 percent to finish at 11,449.58.
