PKU Resource Group, a real estate developer affiliated with Peking University and the Founder Group, launched a campaign on Tuesday to solicit mascots for a new cultural community in Sanshui district of Foshan, Guangdong province.
"The mascots should be well in accordance with the culture of Peking University and represent new-style communities which will combine residential and cultural functions," said Luo Wenqiang, president of the PKU Resource Group.
The company is developing a 20,000-square-meter cultural compound within its new residential community in the Sanshui district in the booming Pearl River Delta.
"High-quality educational, cultural and health resources from Peking University and the Founder Group will be introduced to improve public services for residents," Luo said.
The solicitation campaign will conclude by May 28, according to the company.
