BEIJING - Volvo began its recall of 569 units of its V40 model over software flaws on Tuesday, the country's quality watchdog said in a statement.
The left rear position light in the affected vehicles may stop functioning due to software failure, said the statement issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
The affected vehicles were manufactured between Nov 25, 2013 and March 10, 2014.
The company will update the vehicles' software for customers free of charge, according to the statement.
