Vehicle collision kills 7 in SW China

GUIYANG - Seven people were confirmed dead after a coach and a mini-bus collided on Monday morning at a highway section in Zunyi city, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

All of the casualties were from the mini-bus, which had eight people aboard when the accident happened at about 9 am. Six of them died on the spot, and one of the two injured died on the way to the hospital, according to rescuers sent by the city's fire department.

The police is investigating the cause of the accident.
