Chinese vice premier leaves for Ukraine visit

BEIJING - Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang left Beijing on Monday for a visit to Ukraine from April 18 to 22 at the invitation of the Ukrainian government.

During his visit, Zhang will attend the first meeting of China-Ukraine Cooperation Committee, according to a press release from China's Foreign Ministry.

Zhang will also attend the Summit on Safe and Innovative Use of Nuclear Energy as a representative of Chinese President Hu Jintao.
