Tibet's horse racing gala

Riders in the Tibet autonomous region participate in a competition during a horse-racing gala on August 11, 2011. They show their bravery by performing a series of stunts, such as picking up khata, or ceremonial scarves, while on horseback. The gala was opened in Naqu in Tibet that day and will last six days.
