Thirty participants were given 40 minutes to finish the makeup in the local occupational skills contest. The cost of a wedding differs much in different areas of China. The average cost is 100,000 yuan ($15,600) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, according to Dong Bin, the chairman of the province’s Wedding Association. A recent online survey in the economically well-developed city of Dongguan, South China's Guangdong province, put the average cost at 395,000 yuan. [Photo/CFP]
