Women bond after loss of shared husband

Huang Magan married her husband in 1926, but after finding that she could not bear children he married again in 1942, taking then-34-year-old Huang Maxue as a second wife. The women have been living together peacefully ever since, with the husband and Huang Maxue in charge of farming and the Huang Magan doing household duties.
