Qin Xiaodong has a huge problem with his face: he looks too much like the Hong Kong pop singer Edison Chen. Now Qin, 25, from China's southern Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, is taking drastic action to deal with his problem – facial injections that will change his look, Nanfang Daily reports.
Qin's problems began after the singer was embroiled in a scandal in 2008 over raunchy pictures that were distributed on the internet. Qin became the object of widespread derision, and his romantic life began to founder.
Zeng Ni quoted a doctor as saying Qin's problem was mostly psychological, and that the minor cosmetic changes would last for 18 months.
