Spanish FM cancels visit to China

BEIJING - China on Monday said Spanish foreign minister Trinidad Jimenez Garcia-Herrera's scheduled visit to China from August 30 to Sep. 2 was canceled.

The cancellation was due to Spain's domestic work, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu said on Monday.
