Two Chinese flights receive threat calls before takeoff

BEIJING - Two flights of Air China received threat calls before takeoff on Tuesday and are going through safety checks, the country's flagship carrier said.
The flights, CA4111, from Lhasa to Beijing via Chengdu, and CA1578, flying from Nanchang to Beijing, got threat calls from unidentified sources and no abnormalities have been found on them so far, according to an announcement posted by Air China on its official account on Weibo.com, China's Twitter-like microblog site.
Flight CA4111 was scheduled to take off from Lhasa at 4 p.m. while CA1578 would have left Nanchang at 6:05 p.m., according to Air China.
