A bull that escaped from a farm in a village in Hefei, the capital of Anhui province, and ran wild on Saturday night, was killed by police the next day, anhuinews.com reported on Monday.
The bull was part of a herd of cattle sent to the farm from Hebei province and went wild when it was unloaded from the transport truck that night. It attacked farm workers and ran out of the farm. By the following afternoon, the bull could still not be brought under control and police killed it at about 1:30 pm on Sunday with eight shots from a submachine gun.
It is the third time a runaway bull at the cattle farm has been shot dead by police.
