Revellers embrace the New Year at Great Wall

A New Year countdown ceremony was held at Badaling section of the Great Wall, attracting spectators from home and abroad.

The ceremony featuring a lot of Beijing folk arts with the participation by many local villagers, was also aimed at promoting the tourism industry in Beijing.
