Two senior officials in northeast China's Liaoning province died at work on Wednesday.

Ren Zhiwei, 55, Communist Party chief of Liaoning Disabled Persons' Federation, jumped to his death from the sixth floor in his office building of the Foundation at noon on Oct 29. The organization confirmed his death.

Ren holds a bureau-level position and is allegedly in charge of the Foundation's financial department. The police excluded homicide from their investigation.

Xu Ansheng, 55, deputy head of the Liaoning Provincial Higher People's Court, was found dead in a hotel in Anshan city during a business trip. The police are treating the case as a suspected suicide.

Xu was found to have multiple antidepressant medications with her. Homicide was excluded because she was considered to be at risk for suicide, according to a police investigation.

Before the deaths of the two senior officials in Liaoning, a senior official in south China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region fell to his death from a building in the capital city of Nanning on Tuesday.

Chen Lidan, whose death occurred at noon, was the head of foreign affairs of the Guangxi provincial committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

Chen, 60, a native of Hunan province, was mayor of the city of Hezhou in Guangxi from 2003 to 2008. He was also the head of the Department of Civil Affairs in the region from 2008 to 2013. An economics graduate, Chen worked in various positions for the government before being appointed to the bureau-level position in the region's legislative body in 2013.

Police are investigating his death.
