China's first-ever blank stare competition was held on Tuesday in Chengdu, Sichuan province, on Tuesday. Two hundred people participated in the contest, during which they were required to sit or lie down and stare ahead blankly, instead of moving or laughing. The game originated in Korea as a call for people to enjoying a slower paced life. This year a nine-year-old girl won the national contest in Korea.
