Liu Ting has undergone six-months of transgender surgery at a hospital in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province. Named national ‘moral model’ in 2005 for carrying his mother - stricken with uremia, or urine in the bloodstream - on his back to school, Liu has finally become a woman. Photo taken on April 7, 2015.
