The 2015 World 3D Printing Technology Industry Conference and Expo will be held in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province, from June 3 to 6.
The event is sponsored by the World 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance and China 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance.
Under the theme "To Usher in the Era of 3D Printing 3.0", the conference is expected to attract about 1,000 experts and representatives from over 10 countries or regions.
During the three-day event, the participants will exchange views on the future development and business model of 3D printing technology and discuss how the new technology can be better combined with traditional industries.
The expo will be held simultaneously with the conference, with more than 120 domestic and international enterprises in the 3D printing industry invited. The exhibition area will total more than 16,000 square meters.
In addition, a 3D printing design competition and a 3D printing fashion show will be held alongside the expo. The organizers will also launch a three-year program to build 1,000 3D printing classrooms in China.
