Nowadays foreigners living and working are a common sight in Zhengzhou city, capital of Central China's Henan province, as the city becomes more globalized.
The expatriates said they came here for different reasons, but they all enjoy their lives and some even find their perfect match in the city.
Tom, 60-year-old, said: "Zhengzhou broadened my horizon." And Mufi, who is 22, said it made him feel at home.
Zhengzhou, though not as well-known as Beijing or Shanghai, is a cradle of ancient Chinese civilization and also home to many scenic spots such as Shaolin Temple and Song Mountain.
