Over 130,000 people in Guangxi evacuated after Typhoon Mujigae

NANNING - At least 135,100 people in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, South China, have been evacuated due to Typhoon Mujigae, the regional department of civil affairs said on Thursday.
The typhoon also destroyed 19,171 homes within the region and caused estimated direct economic losses of more than 1.6 billion yuan (about 252 million US dollars).
Guangxi has seen heavy storms since Mujigae made landfall in neighboring Guangdong province on Sunday.
