Xi begins new year with visit in Southwest China's Chongqing

The president prioritized innovation during his visit to the Chongqing branch of BOE Technology Group, one of the seven production bases of China's LCD maker's semiconductor display devices.

"Innovation should be carried forward," said Xi after watching the circuits inside a HD display screen with a magnifier.
