Dubbed "the world's most dangerous village", Guoliang, at an altitude of 1,700 meters, is perched at the top of mountains and steep cliffs in Central China's Henan province.
Villagers had to rely on 720 almost-vertical stairs to get to the outside world, until one day they decided to carve a tunnel out of the stone walls of the 200-meter cliff.
The isolated village, which remained hidden until recently, is now gradually becoming a tourist hot spot.
