Chongqing turns trash cans into Wi-Fi hotspot

The solar-powered trash cans can monitor how much garbage it contains. Once the trash reaches 80 percent of its capacity, the cans will release warning signal for sanitation workers to collect trash timely.
It is also a Wi-Fi hotspot. Each of these cans allow 5M free cellphone data, and its server can accommodate around 50 people online at the same time.
As if these functions are not good enough, these trash cans also offer emergency call services, and come with fire extinguisher facilities.
