Since 2010, going to the China Children's Art Theatre in Beijing has become a favorite choice of many children and their parents for a weekend outing. And this year brings more fun for the young as well as the young at heart.
Family musical "Pippi Longstocking" is the cooperative production between the CCAT and a group of Swedish artists. Adapted from a popular children's book, the play won wide acclaim for its brisk music and humorous plot during its first run last year.

On this second run, the theater has invited a special young guest. At the age of 11, Liu Wei is only as tall as a two-year-old. The chronic patient is usually depressed and silent, but he was cheered up by the fearless and optimistic Pippi.
Liu Wei is only one of those who has been treated to free shows. And CCAT is determined to spread their concern and love to wider areas.
