A building constructed during the Republic of China at Nanjing Normal University, Jiangsu province.

Formerly Jinling Women's College, Nanjing Normal University features woods, lawns and traditional Chinese-style buildings built in the early twentieth century. The university  also acted as an international protection zone set up by foreign residents of Nanjing to shield civilians from Japanese attacks during the infamous Nanjing Massacre.[Photo/IC]
