Paintings by DPRK's Mansudae Art Studio debut in Shenyang

A visitor takes in an oil painting by an artist from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) at the Shenyang Arts and Crafts Commercial Building, in Liaoning province, Feb 7, 2015. Nearly 100 works by DPRK artists from the Mansudae Art Studio are on display at the exhibition. This is the first time Mansudae’s artworks have been exhibited in Shenyang. Founded in 1959, Mansudae is DPRK's most famous art complex. It includes some 1,000 artists, handpicked from the country's best academies.
