Ming Dynasty imperial ceramics showcased at Palace Museum

A new exhibition,Imperial Ceramics and Porcelain of the Great Ming (1368-1644) : Comparisons of Excavated and Extant Ceramic Pieces from the Hongwu, Yongle, and Xuande Reigns (14th – 15th c.), kicked off June 2 at Beijing's Palace Museum. It is the first time that the Palace Museum has held joint exhibition with the Jingdezhen Research Institute of Ceramic Archaeology.The show is one of the exhibitions this year to mark the 90th anniversary of the Palace Museum's establishment in the Forbidden City. It runs through Sept 2.
