Summer is here, and many like to put on beautiful clothing to add some more color to the already vibrant season.

However, as temperatures rise, makeup can easily get ruined, so portable makeup become necessities. In ancient times, women in the royal court used various exquisite beauty products and tools. The official Weibo account of the Palace Museum released a group of photos of its collections including hand mirrors, compacts and rouge boxes used by ancient females.
