"Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria and basketball player Tony Parker have finalized their divorce, her representative said on Monday.

Longoria, who split with Parker among revelations that he had been text messaging another woman, originally filed for divorce to end their three-year marriage in Los Angeles.

But the couple also had a separate case in Texas, where Parker plays basketball for the San Antonio Spurs, and it was the Texas divorce case that was finalized, according to media reports.

A spokeswoman for Longoria confirmed the divorce was finalized, but gave no further details.

Longoria and Parker had no children together. The actress, who began her career in soap operas, plays former model Gabrielle Solis on the hit ABC show "Desperate Housewives."
