Daming Palace Music Festival was held recently at Xi'an's Daming Palace National Heritage Park. As a part of the Qujiang Site Park Music Festival, which is ongoing at Xi'an, Shaanxi province, until Monday, the festival features local and international stars, including Gong Linna, Hanggai band and African-music band Afrokoko Roots.

Besides live music performances, slideshows and video screenings, funded by embassies, the festival features cultural, artistic and tourist information from various countries.

Xi'an is known for its Terracotta Warriors. The city is also home to many rock singers, such as Zhang Chu, Xu Wei and Zheng Jun. Qujiang Site Park Music Festival is the first music festival combining ancient heritage parks and music, in China.
