New look creates travelers' oasis at the heart of Jilin province
Shangri-La Hotel, Changchun, has revamped its facilities and is now offering guestrooms and serviced apartments that it is confident will meet the highest expectations of business travelers and families alike.
Changchun is the capital of Northeast China's Jilin province. Its name means Long Spring, so it is perhaps fitting that after 11 months of dedicated efforts, the hotel has blossomed with its new look.
Designed by HLA International in Hong Kong, the newly upgraded guestrooms and serviced apartments are equipped with advanced technology and reside within complete living facilities that promise to provide guests with convenience and a high-quality lifestyle, reflecting the hotel's service ethos of "I know this city, but I know you more".
Every facet of the serviced apartments - from the automatic heated clothes racks to the bedside reading lamps - is distinctive and designed to create an appealing and comfortable home-away-from-home in the most enviable lifestyle in the province's commercial, political and cultural hub.
Amenities at the hotel include a health club on the third floor, equipped with an indoor swimming pool, advanced gym, sauna, steam bath and Jacuzzi.
Shen Caf offers not only a delicious variety of foods but also fun, as diners can make their own cream puffs at the dessert station, and the salad station is presented as a garden with a small station where guests can add all kinds of sauces.
The farm-to-table philosophy has always been the defining principle of Shangri-La's signature Shang Palace restaurants, and the Shang Palace at Shangri-La Hotel, Changchun, sources most of its vegetables, beef and other ingredients from local organic farms.
To celebrate the launch of the new guestrooms and serviced apartments, Shangri-La Hotel, Changchun, is offering a special business package created for business travelers, starting from only 1,150 yuan ($173) per night.
It includes accommodation in one of the newly designed guestrooms, complimentary buffet breakfast and dinner, a welcome fruit plate, 10 percent off hotel laundry and limousine services, free use of the indoor swimming pool and fitness center facilities and free wireless internet.
Guests staying in the Horizon Club rooms will enjoy exclusive club benefits. Bookings of three or more rooms at the same time entitle guests to free upgrade to the next category for one room. This offer is valid until Dec 31.
In addition, from now until Sept 30, guests who stay two consecutive nights will enjoy 10 percent off the best available rate, which starts from only 619 yuan per night, as well as a welcome fruit plate, free use of the indoor swimming pool and fitness center facilities and guestroom wireless internet access.
