13 Reasons Why

Netflix's latest teen suicide drama based on US writer Jay Asher's best-selling novel was released on March 31. 13 Reasons Why tells a story about Hannah Baker (Katherine Langford) who uses 13 cassette tapes to explain the reason behind her suicide. The show also shines light on current social topics such as bullying, rape and mental illness. US singer and the show's executive producer Selena Gomez told the Hollywood Reporter: "I see myself as Hannah so much. I wanted it to feel like anyone can see themselves in this."

Last year, US singer Halsey's collaboration with the Chainsmokers, Closer, was Billboard No 1 single for 12 consecutive weeks. On April 4, the 22-year-old singer-songwriter dropped her latest single Now or Never, which explores the concept of star-crossed lovers. The song will be a part of her upcoming album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, which will be released on June 2.
