Passengers on a long-distance bus journey exited the vehicle and performed a group dance on the side of a highway in Xi'an, while more than 100 vehicles were stuck in a traffic jam on April 22. The vehicles could not move for more than half an hour. The group of passengers, who were traveling from Jiangsu province to Sichuan province, said they were bored sitting on the bus waiting. Cheating student jumps to her death

A 14-year-old middle school student in Suining county jumped to her death from the fifth floor of the school building after twice being caught cheating in exams. The first time she was caught cheating, she was reprimanded by her teacher. However, in her next exam, another student saw her cheating again and reported it to the teacher, which was when the girl rose from her seat and jumped from the fifth-floor classroom window. It was reported that she left a note, but it was not revealed what it said. The school authorities said she was a well-behaved student, but had a poor academic performance.

Patient plays on phone in surgery

The operation only required local anesthesia, so she was conscious during the surgery. The woman shared her unusual experience with medical professionals at an international meeting on a new treatment for varicose veins, known as the closure-fast procedure. The woman said she took pictures during the surgery and sent them to her friends. She walked out of the theater after the surgery and was discharged from the hospital the same day.
